The 'highwayman' torque multiplier has been designed for general- purpose use where it is necessary to provide higher torque than would otherwise be possible, due to limitations on space or operator strength. Input to the multiplier is via a ratchet torque wrench (not supplied) set to one fifth of the desired output. This 5:1 torque multiplication is accurate to more than 4%. Supplied in kit form that includes a multiplier head, cranked reaction bar, straight reaction bar, and carrying case. Model 17220 also comes complete with spare square drive lug.
